New Reb has finally released their highly anticipated music video!!! The video is for the song I N Aina, the second track off of the More Music Less TV album. New Reb’s I N Aina music video is the bands second ever music video release and can be found at www.youtube.com/newrebvideo. The video was directed by Wil Crombie, the bands videographer, documentarian, and live visual artist. The video was filmed over a period of six months and encompasses their love for Hawaii, their angst toward the cold Minnesota weather, and their general love for life. The Aina seems to be a metaphor in this video for staying positive no matter what, or where, your circumstances may lead you.
New Reb releases their first ever music video!
New Reb, Mi Like Fi Share music video was filmed and edited by local Minneapolis filmmaker Wil Crombie. The video takes you into a day in the life of the band and consists of them throwing a backyard barbecue, fishing out of a boat car, bathing in a bathtub full of barbecued pork, and staying true to their “More Music, Less TV” roots by destroying a television. Ultimately this breaks out into a food fight. The video is highly entertaining, comedic and shows just how fun and energetic the band can be. The bands debut video can be found on their youtube page.
In the spring of 2011, New Reb will kick off their first U.S. Tour, the “More Music Less TV Tour”! The tour will include cities in: North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Colorado, California, and of course the home state of Minnesota!

We had an amazing time in Hawaii and some of us are still there! We played some really fun shows including a kids surf competition @ Honolii in Hilo, the 2010 Winter Surf Party w/ Dirty Roots @ The Hilo Tavern, Chris Berry’s Bana Kuma festival which is an amazing weekend of traditional african drum, dance, kalimba, and Marimba lessons w/ Chris and his talented and amazing crew of musician friends! We played a few acoustic shows @ Kanaka Kava in Kona, which is also my favorite spot to hang out on the island after the sun goes down. We met so many awesome and amazing people and made some really good new friends, and of course we spent a lot of time surfing and snorkeling!!! Blessings to di Aina!
